This policy explains how marketing4motors.ie uses cookies and similar technologies. In keeping with how we do everything else: plainly.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work and to provide information to site owners.
What this site uses
Strictly necessary. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may set minimal technical cookies needed to serve the site securely. These do not track you and cannot be switched off.
Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests these files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of serving them. Google states these requests are not used for tracking.
Embedded content and links. Where we link to or embed third-party services such as WhatsApp or social platforms, those services may set their own cookies once you interact with them, governed by their own policies.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies for this purpose and receives usage data including your IP address. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site. You can opt out using browser settings, blocking tools, or Google’s own opt-out browser add-on. If we introduce advertising tools such as a Meta pixel, we will update this policy again.
Changing your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies, and we remember your answer. Changed your mind? Click here and the banner will ask you again.
How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them entirely. Doing so may affect how some websites function, though this site will work fine without them.
